Project 1
mask making
The first project involves interpretation of SELF as an introduction to the elements of visual arts and using them to express subjective ideas through the process of making an object---a mask. In contrast with its main usage of covering and hiding, here you are required to use that for revealling , dig deep and identify ourself.
In the final project , students will undergo series of small studio based group exercises for better understanding of space and the application of design principles and elements leadign to the design of an individual space.
The second project involves the relationship between form, function, scale, proportion and anthropometry by designing a small detailed space for a person in 24 hours use. This weightened the awareness of of students about human body , interaction of space and body at the same time exploring the role of reasoning and logic in shaping the form.
Studio 1
As one of the core subject in bachelor of science in Architecture, studio 1 plays a role as an introducing platform to the students about architecture. Architecture had been introduced as a combination of subjective and objective elements which is a combinaton of sentimental aspects of design and pragmatic aspects of design process.
